A patient-centric mobile app for appointment scheduling and telemedicine.

The MediCare Plus mobile application was designed to bridge the gap between patients and healthcare providers through digital innovation. At its core, the app facilitates instant connectivity, allowing patients to schedule appointments and conduct secure, high-definition video consultations with specialists from the comfort of their homes. We implemented a robust digital prescription management system that allows doctors to send prescriptions directly to a patient's preferred pharmacy. Integration with hospital Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems ensures that doctors have immediate access to a patient's medical history during consultations. Accessibility was a major focus; the app is fully compliant with WCAG guidelines, ensuring it is usable by elderly patients and those with disabilities. Furthermore, the entire architecture adheres to strict HIPAA compliance standards to protect patient privacy.
